Dear Mother and Dad,
Just a short letter hoping it will find you all well & free from Witney as it leaves me.
I am afraid I have is very little for one to write about except to let you know that I am still in the pink and wishing for this to end.
it is a mess isn't it, spoils a good job, upsets a good home with one thing in its favour that is teaches one to appreciate a good home but the main thing is TOO LATE.
Cheer up I say, as the first ten years will be worst, I hope it is not thet long or I'll soon get the old age pension.
Well I must close with love to you all.
Your loving son,
Cecil.
In July 2019, Cecil's grandson Mark Winfield and family are going to visit Cecil's grave and will let photo copys and laminate in perspecks and make watertight to leave on his Grandads grave for all to read.
