Sgt Henry William Aparicio
The son of Ernest A. and Mary L. Aparicio, of Bow, London, Henry was bon in London on 16/02/1924 and enlisted on 22/04/1943.
The Albermale Aw.41 - s/n V1773 took off from Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, for the Mallard operation, to strengthening bridgehead of the 6th Airborne, east of the river Orne.
At about 9 P.M., after to have droped his Horsa glider over Ranville, the plane was shot by the shooting of a launch featured in the Caen Canal.
