Pte Cecil Linford Sheppard 16/12/1917 aged 20
Cecil was born in Burgess Hill, Sussex.
He was KIA whilst with a working party in the Cité St Pierre area.

Pte Sidney Price 24/04/1917 aged 20
His step father, Gnr John Joseph Hatton killed on 28/03/1918 aged 44 is buried in Cabaret Rouge British Cemetery.

Pte Thomas Albert Bricknall 15/05/1916 aged 21
Thomas resided with his parents, Thomas and Emma Bricknall, at 200, Blakenall Lane, Leamore.
On the day of his death two patrols were sent raiding the enemy lines.
The raids were a disaster with both patrols returning after mistaking Germans whistles for recall whistles.
Following the raid the Germans retaliated by bombarding the British lines with rifle grenades.

Sjt Ernest Yates 20/12/1917
Ernest was a married man residing at 34, Farringdon Street, Walsall with his wife and three children.
He was killed by the bursting of a shell while his bn were holding the line at Cité St Pierre near Loos.

Pte Sydney Samuel Powell 12/11/1917
Sydney was a married man with three children residing at Back 52, Long Acre Street, Walsall.
Sadly, two of his children died whilst Sydney was serving at the front.
He was killed while on a working party in the front line trenches at Cité St Pierre in the Loos sector.

Sjt Joseph Spencer 11/11/1917
Joseph was a married man with a child residing at 56, Long Acre Street, Walsall.
At the time of his death his bn were in trenches at Cité St. Pierre in the Lens sector.

Cpl Sidney Thomas Dance 24/04/1917
Sidney was the son of Henry and Esther Dance of 116, Victor Street, Caldmore.
At the time of his death his bn were in the line in the Lieven-Angres sector, south west of Lens.

Sjt John Kelly 04/05/1917
John was the son of Patrick and Margaret Kelly of 1, Blue Lane East, Walsall.
At 9.30pm on the day of his death his bn relieved the 1/5th Bn, North Staffordshire Rgt in the line west of Lens during which 3 men were killed and 3 wounded.

Pte Samuel Victor Allen 13/03/1916
Samuel was the son of Samuel and Harriett Allen of 224, Blakenall Lane, Bloxwich.
At the end of 02/1916 his bn moved to Bully Grenay and into support at Cité Calonne, south of Loos, where they remained until Saturday 18/03/1916.
Here the bn was engaged on organising a second line.
Samuel was killed while on sentry duty in trenches, when he was shot from the enemy lines.

Pte Daniel Round 04/05/1917
Daniel was the eldest son of Daniel and Harriett Walsall Wood Road, Aldridge.
At 9.30pm on the day of his death the bn relieved the 1/5th Bn, North Staffordshire Rgt in the line west of Lens during which 3 men were killed and 3 wounded.

Pte George Reid Walker 16/10/1918
George was the son of Daniel and Alice Walker of 148, Blue Lane, Walsall.
On Thursday 10/10/1918 his bn occupied a sunken road 800 yards from the Quéant-Drocourt line.
No further engagements are recorded for the bn prior to the Armistice although they were heavily shelled whilst holding these positions.

L/Cpl Thomas Ryan 01/07/1917
Thomas was a married man with 3 children residing at 7, Bank Street, Walsall.
He was killed during attacks on Lens.
