The ceremony to honour these Airmen on 14/05/2016

Members of the crew of Avro Lancaster ME668-ZN-L (106 Sqdn RAF)
Sgt Gladstone - F/O Hardcastle - F/O Paterson
Mayor Mr Pascal Lepetit with members of Liberty Jeep and friends in military suit.
Scottish music during the ceremony.
A lot of people of the village, also in time clothes.
Proud to carry the flags.
Proud to carry the Airmen suit.
The family of W/O Hilton Craig Bell thanks to the Mayor and his team to honour also him with a plaque on a wall of the church.
It is said that part of his body was found under the rest of the plane but it was not possible to identify him with certitude.
Hilton is remembered on the Runnymede Memorial.
The others members of the crew, all prisonner were
F/Lt Geoffrey Norman Marchant, Sgt F. Wells and F/O Arthur Kinnis.
