for Dean Cox and family
Pte George Henry Wood 01/06/1940 aged 29
George used his brother name, Leslie Thomas Wood to join up in 1924 and served for 15 years and 360 days until being killed in action in June 1940.
He did reveal his real name in 1932 but was still known as Leslie, there is no idea why but this is proved on his service record, this is also under the name he is buried.
