Pte Arthur Parkes 29/12/1917 aged 26
Arthur was the son of Joseph and Catherine Parkes of 21, Bloxwich Road, Leamore and was employed by Nathan and Hayes, silversmiths of Birmingham.
Enlisting in the Army at Birmingham in 09/1914, Arthur served in the Trench Mortar Bn of the rgt and was drafted to France on Saturday 18/12/1915.
He was accidentally killed.
