I visited this cemetery last week and laid a wreath at my gt Uncles grave.He was Maj. George Bremner MC. DSO.It's a beautiful place to be laid to rest,so quiet and peaceful.I had wanted to visit his grave for about ten years now and I finally managed it with the help of my cousin.I felt so proud of him.

Laid a cross this year at the grave of pte RC Roberts of 2nd Battalion Monmouthshire Regt.
He fell in May 1918 and was laid to rest at La Kruele near Hazebroucke by my Grandfather Thomas Francis James of the same regiment.

We will drop by again to pay our respect and remember my grandfather who stood on that very spot where the boy was laid down.

My Uncle was Charles Richard High, and he was one of the 92 murdered at the Paradis Fram Massacre.. Nice site, thanks for doing this.

I have just returned from visiting, two great uncle's graves, one maternal and one paternal, they wouldn't have known each, but they were buried just 12 km and two years apart.
After seeing the beautiful, tiny Cabin Hill cemetery in the corner of a field surrounded by Corn on the Cobs blowing in the wind I think my Granny would have been very happy to know how serene her brother's final resting place is.

Great Uncle Patrick, what a honour to visit your final resting place , once again the rain stopped and the sun shone as we arrived.
My Dad is delighted, I have pictures of his only paternal uncle's grave.
I never knew you or my Granda James, your brother, but you will never be forgotten.
Hopefully I will return with my Dad for your 100th anniversary in 2015.

My Aunt lost her only Son at the age of 20 fighting for his country, as a young Boy my Aunt always treated me as the Son she lost. Today having contacted a Cousin in Canada who gave me the best info he could to locate the war grave. I typed in all the rough bits of info and your site came up and showed the grave of William Edward Griffiths, thank you.
I now have an exact location for my visit of the final resting place of my Cousin Billy, and those that perished with him that day. Thank you.

In memory of my Great Uncle Alfred James Hale who succumbed to wounds and is laid to rest in this cemetery. Having been born in Netteswell Cross which is now part of Harlow in Essex Alfred served with the 4th Batt Royal Fusiliers. He has always been remembered by the family which continues to this day. I personally visited the grave several years ago and intend to revisit to mark the 100th anniversary of his death in 2018.

Owen Pickett was My great uncle and is buried at his cemetry, he died on 25/3/18. My father was born on 3/6/18 and was named after him.
My brother and I visited 4 years ago it was very well maintained. They gave their today so that we could have a tomorrow. Thankyou.

I am writing in memory of my great uncle Gunner Charles Davis of the Royal Garrison Artillery. He died aged 20 on 3/7/16 and is buried in Vlamertinghe Cemetery. My father was named after him and he was often spoken of as at the time of his death he was the tallest man in the British army during the 1st world war. Great uncle you are often in my thoughts, and I'm so sorry that your young life was cut so short. I will not forget you.
