An identified soldier is buried in an individual grave with mention of his name, Christian name or initilal(s), service number, rank,
regiment (and emblem), date of death and in some cases age. And for some, awards.
A lot of soldiers have no known graves, their bodies have disappeared in the fighting and have not beendiscovered since.
There are commemorated on the walls of Memorial: name, initial(s) and awards. Sevice number for men with the same name and initial(s).
